The Official list of nominees for the next term of our board of directors is posted on the website. We have also set up a new forum in the members only section for them to post their candidate statements and for you the members to post questions.

May 18th WMPE NIGHT 8pm to 1am

For our WMPE play night this month, we have four seasoned whip throwers willing to share their expertise with single tails and bull whips. This is a rare opportunity to take a quick lesson or learn a new technique on a one to one basis. If you are lucky enough to spend time with each of the presenters, you may learn 4 new techniques.
Our speaker is Vamty of Vicious Whips [http://ViciousWhips.com]. He is co-coordinator at the Boston Whip Practice, has worked the Whip Lounge at the Fetish Fair for several years and is an experienced teacher and talented artisan as well. Vicious Whips is producing quality signal whips and bull whips from para-cord which makes them surprisingly affordable as well as appropriately vicious. He will be more than happy to take orders for anyone who is dying to have their own whip.
Vamty will provide a quick overview of how to use the whip and what to look for when purchasing a new whip, and then with the help of the three other trainers, you will finally get the one on one training you have been looking for.
Our other presenters are LadyNim, Akuda and Sue (of SueandRay). They have all been active in the New England scene for many years and are respected and experienced presenters and whip throwers.
Lady Nim and Akuda attend the Boston whip practice on a regular basis to help teach others as well as learn from them. Sue is known locally for "making them know they have been whipped"

"Look at me! Look at me! Look at me now! It is fun to have fun but you have to know how." The littles will be having a night filled with Dr Seuss. There will be coloring, an organized craft, games including Musical Feet, and Seuss themed food!
This invasion is going to be a little different than past invasions. The Master Charles Room will be a littles only space with no other BDSM play allowed. We'll have a few different stations set up in there for the whole evening including an Erector set, coloring, crafts, books, a play pen, movies, and whatever else I can pull together by then.

- Greek Seat Heat – (Main Dungeon) Lets see how good some of our Doms can give a spanking! We want to see the Brightest Cherry Red Ass you can produce. Control is a factor, we want color, not blood. Do you think you have what it takes and the sub to take it? Single judge using color chips to score winner.

- Rope Design - (Main Dungeon) For rope enthusiasts we have a contest using rope to create a work of art. Judged by a panel for best wins.

- Needle and Knives - (Medical Room) For those that are into the sharp arts we have a contest of precision. Choose to create a design using Skill & Precision to come up with something intersting to view for the crowds amusement. Judged by a panel for best wins.

NOTE!!!!!!!!!!: We may have a photorapher on hand to take pictures of the final contest creations if the people involved allow it.!!!!!!!!

This will be our first Holiday Weekend Sunday Night Event!

Town Meeting Minutes
May 5, 2012
I. Call to order
Sir Jack called to order the regular meeting of the Society Co-op on May 5, 2012 in The Master Charles Room.
II. Approval of minutes from last meeting
Kerin indicated that there were no copies of the past minutes available so there were none to approve.
III. Open issues
a) Financial Report- in April we were just about breaking even before the NEEHU weekend, and that weekend was $1500.00 plus attendance so we are in the black for April.
b) Religious Service at the Space – a member wants to hold a church service at the Space. There was clarification that it is more of a discussion group. There was a question as to whether the Board had the right to decide on this. It was determined that the bylaws allow for such decisions and they are to be brought up for review by the members. Concerns were expressed over who would attend and potential scheduling conflicts. Those concerns were addressed as the group would not meet if there was a conflict and they will be finished prior to any afternoon education. Costs would be offset by donations and it was mentioned that we are a community center. The meeting would be held in either the Quiet room or the Master Charles room depending on the attendance. Lady Em made a motion to have it drafted into an agreement for discussion and vote in June, seconded by Bug. Sir Will is going to write something up and give it to the Board to send out.
IV. New business
a) Member Nominations for the June election – of the current Board member whose terms are up, Sir Jack and Rick are not running for reelection, Kerin is.

Come join us to see the rocky Horror Picture Show and the sequel "Shock Treatment" in a Late Night Double Feature!

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is the 1975 film adaptation of the British rock musical stageplay, The Rocky Horror Show, written by Richard O'Brien. The film is a parody of B-movie, science fiction and horror films of the late 1940s through early 1970s. Director Jim Sharman collaborated on the screenplay with O'Brien, who wrote both the book and lyrics for the stage. The film introduces Tim Curry and features Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick along with cast members from the original Kings Road production presented at the Royal Court Theatre, London, in 1973.

Shock Treatment is a 1981 musical-black comedy film and a follow-up to the film The Rocky Horror Picture Show. While not an outright sequel, the movie does feature several characters from the movie portrayed by different actors and several Rocky Horror actors portraying new characters. It was originally titled The Brad and Janet Show, which included a similar plot and the same songs, but was rewritten to take place entirely in a studio when a strike made filming the outdoor scenes impossible.

Bring pillows, blankets or sleeping bags to lie out on the floor to relax and enjoy the 2 films. Prizes will be awarded in two categories, Best Transylvanian and Best “Little black dress”

Doors open at 8:00pm usual time.

Inspired by feisty female, a "topping class for bottoms or switches" I took from Midori at Thunder in the Mountains a few years back, this class focuses on play for the sake of playing. Midori's class focused the group on how to bring out their top side. Our class will take one of the techniques she discussed and expand it - PLAYING! Having fun while being safe and sane and remembering that sometimes it IS supposed to be fun! This class will focus on how playing can be done within the confines of a scene, a power dynamic and a relationship. How play involves ALL the players.

Come prepared with a co-conspirator if you have one (can be a friend or a partner) or come meet one, a willingness to open your self up to fun and a desire to learn a few techniques you may or may not have considered before. Be prepared to move around a little as well as be ready to give your suggestions regarding what works for you!

Topics to be covered include:

About Jessica and why I want to teach this -
I am one of the feistiest women I know! Seemed only fitting for this series I would contribute one of my passions. I have been active on the public scene for about 5 years. During that time I have headed up a public munch and a private group. I have been in two long term relationships that had me as a submissive in one and dominant in the other. I consider myself a kinky sexual greedy woman who likes to try it all and have a lot of fun while I am. Often times in life, we get bogged down in how serious life is. We get stuck in doing things that are "good" for us, or "right" and they become very serious. I truly believe that when we open ourselves up to doing what is "right" or "good" in fun and creative ways, we free ourselves to immense possibilities. I look forward to bringing that sense to this class and learning some new play techniques myself!

This session is meant as a group discussion and open forum, and we welcome switches of all varieties, including those curious about being a switch and allies of switches. Come ask us anything - we're sure to tell BOTH sides of the story!

Please bring snacks or food to any event, not just the potluck supper. We all need a little energy after a good evening of play! Soda, coffee, tea and water are always available. The Space is entirely volunteer-run from check in to kitchen work to clean up. Please help by cleaning up after yourself, and treating it like the home it is. Unless otherwise noted, event is: $15 Society Members (Please bring your Membership cards) $20 for special events, field trips, or invasions$25 guests of Members or a member of a recognized group (Please bring your membership cards) Membership: The Society is still only $30 a year. If you come to the Space more than 3 times a year, it is well worth your while to become a Member - membership has its privileges!Potluck Munches are open to everyone, aged 21 and up; from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Everyone is also welcome to all workshops, discussions, and demonstrations. To stay afterwards for the Play Nights, you must be Sponsored by a Member of The Society (bring your Membership cards) or a current member of a BDSM group. (Your group-card is your "Sponsor", so bring it, please!) Reminder as with any night there is always the option to not participate in the theme or activities and to just enjoy the evening like a regular play night/ The Society is for people 21 and up. Neither drugs nor alcohol are allowed anywhere on the premises, including The Society's parking lot. Smoking is only allowed outside in the parking lot.
